I had so much fun with the first series of state fair images, I was anxious to play around with the Impossible Project images I shot this spring in New Mexico. I went with a square 10″ by 10″ format which fit into either a standard 10×10 with no mat or a 14×14 with a matted 10″ opening. These 10×10 images are the results. They are for sale in the web store and you can add a black frame either 10×10 or 14×14 and they will be shipped ready to hang.
After looking at the images I captured on my SX-70 polaroid camera using Impossible Project film and some iPhone photos, I decided to play around. I took the digital images that I captured and combined them with the Impossible project images and played around with the opacity of the images until I got the vintage feel I was looking for. These are the resulting images. I am planning to do more in the series on different subjects. I am really looking forward to playing with the images from our recent trip to New Mexico!
I first heard the Hot at Nights in July of 2012 when they played for the original Art of Cool Project after hours series. I have since seen them perform on many occasions and was anxious for their most recent appearance last weekend. As always, these three amazing individual musicians delivered another stellar performance pushing musical boundaries and the limits of their instruments together. Congratulations on another stellar night, Nick, Matt and Chris.
